FAMILIAS OBRERAS EN LA ARGENTINA DE ENTREGUERRAS. UN ENFOQUE DESDE LOS ARCHIVOS DE EMPRESA.

    El creciente desarrollo del campo de la historia de la familia, desde la perspectiva adoptada por nosotros, está supeditado a las dificultades que presenta el acceso a los archivos de fábrica. Ese fue uno de los motivos que ha obstaculizado la articulación entre la nueva historia del trabajo y la historia de la familia, reduciendo las potencialidades de un análisis centrado en el interjuego entre ambas esferas. Este trabajo enfoca los grupos familiares insertos en una empresa textil, Algodonera Flandria, entre los años 1924-1945. El objetivo es reconstruir la forma en que la familia afecta las condiciones en la fábrica y viceversa, enlazando la conducta familiar al proceso del trabajo industrial y ubicando en el centro la vida de los trabajadores. Es decir que se analizan las estrategias, las adaptaciones y las mutaciones generadas a partir de la interrelación entre el proceso industrializador y las relaciones familiares. Para lograr este objetivo se reconstruyen las condiciones de producción, los trabajadores en actividad, la edad al matrimonio, la endogamia profesional, los roles familiares y el papel de las redes sociales.

  • Abstract

    The increase development of the history, from our adopted perspective, is subordinated to the difficulties to have access to the files inside the companies. This fact was one of the reasons which have hindered the connection between the new labor history and the history of the family and it has limited the fruitful analysis to focus on the link between both spheres. This paper focus to the family groups inserted in a textile company, Algodonera Flandria, between the years 1924 and 1945. The aims is to rebuilt the way in which the family affects the conditions in the company linking the family behavior to the process of the industrial work located in the center of the workers’ life. That is to say, that the strategies are analyzed and the mutations that the industrializing process generated in the family relations. In order to get this aims the productions conditions are rebuilt, the active workers, the age of matrimony, the professional endogamy, the family roles, and the role of the social networks.
